My Journey: Forged by Challenge, Proven by Results
My leadership story began at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where I earned my commission and spent two decades serving our country. From the Cold War through both Gulf Wars, I commanded teams across four continents, managing multi-million-dollar operations where failure wasn't an option. My military career culminated as Director for Concepts & Advanced Systems at U.S. Army Strategic Command, working on cutting-edge technology projects for the Pentagon.
But here's what really shaped me as a coach: the transition from military life to entrepreneurship nearly broke me.
After retiring from the Army, I thought my leadership experience would make business ownership easy. I was wrong. Despite my credentials experience and education; my wealth management firm's success over 10 years, coaching small businesses to grow, preserve and protect their hard-earned profits I found myself struggling financially after my divorce, drowning in debt, and questioning everything I thought I knew about success.
The Turning Point That Changed Everything:
In 2009, at my lowest point, I reluctantly entered the micro-franchising world. I was praying to find a way out of the darkness in my business and life. My prayers were answered in helping coach others. Teaching, training and serving other struggling business leaders. Coaching wasn't a business model – it was a passion for empowering others to transform their lives through small business ownership. Alongside my incredible wife Patti (we'll get to that love story!), I built a thriving business and system, achieving elite industry status and helping hundreds of entrepreneurs worldwide.
This experience taught me something profound: Success isn't about having all the answers – it's about having the right systems and most importantly the courage to implement them.

The Personal Side
Patti and I didn't just merge our businesses when we married in 2012 – we merged our mission. Together, we're raising a blended family of 9 adult children and cherishing our 6 grandchildren. When I'm not coaching, you'll find me outdoors, traveling, or serving through Rotary and our church community here in East Texas.
